And that beautiful world also allows us to find ways to make art!
YOUR TASK Is to create a piece of artwork that uses Nature in some way! Here are some ideas- but feel free to try your own! Images are on the slideshow for inspiration ------
Use the Salt dough Recipe (can be found on the tab for your grade level) and use it to press plants into to make impressions of flowers, branches, and leaves
Make Leaf Rubbings! All you need is a leaf, paper, and crayon. Peel the crayon, so there is no wrapper. Place the leaf on a table and cover it with the paper. Use the flat side of the crayon, rub all over where the leaf is. This will create a rubbing!
Try and spell your name on the ground, using only things you can find outside- like rocks, flowers, leaves
Make your own paint brush and use it! Use a rubber band to hold leaves, twigs, pieces of grass onto a stick, and try it out to see how it works!
Make Pictures of animals or bugs using natural findings!
Smash Painting (make sure to get permission before picking flowers for this) Paints were sometimes made using plants! You could pick up a leaf and smush it onto paper, and it would leave a mark that was green on the paper! Go on a color hunt, and see how many different colors you can make just by smushing and rubbing parts of plants onto paper!
Can't go outside? Then create your own image of something you like about the natural world outside your door!
Or come up with your own idea!
